ABORTION

Hi guys! Now I'm going to talk about the abortion. 

Don't you know what is exactly the abortion? Well, it is when a pregnancy is interrupt so the child doesn't birth.

Currently it is legal in some countries to abort, but it depends of the conditions. A lot of people is against this practice, although there are arguments in favor of the abortion.

One one hand some ''feminist'' people say that women have the right to decide what they want to do with their lives and with their bodies. In addition, specialists say that the abortion is not considered a murder because the fetus can't survive outside the mother's body.

On the other hand, there is a lot of people against this practice because they think the abortion is to murder a human being. Murder is ilegal so abortion should be too. They also think that the mother have to have the child because is her responsibility. If you don't take preventive measures, you have to assume the consequences.

Furthermore, many religions say that women come into the word to reproduce the species. Sexual relations are only made to have children when you are married so you can't say no to the birth of your child.

From my point of view, I'm in favour of the abortion but only in excepcional cases. For example, when the mother has been rape. I think it's not fair to have a child that you don't what to have and that you don't know (or you don't want to know) who is the father.

Moreover, I think it should be legal to abort when the mother is sick or when the baby will be born with disability or with malformations.

All in all, I think every child should be born to be loved so if you don't want a child please take prevention.

Arranged marriages

How would you feel if you can't choose your partner? I suppose that you have never thought that.

Well... In some cultures, parents choose the partner for their children without consider their opinion.

Think that you have to get married and live the rest of your life with a person that you don't know, only for your family's interests in relation basically of money. It's unfair, isn't it?

There are also some youngs who don't want to get married because they aren't agree with this tradition or because they think they're too young but they can't escape. It's their obligation to do what their parents say.

I think that arranged marriages don't have to exist because in this world everybody is free and we have to build our own future next to someone we want.
When you get married to a person is because you have had the opportunity to know him or her little by little and because you love each other.

It's true that many ''love'' marriages split up, but... Nothing happens. Life is very long and I'm sure that you will probably meet another person and you will fall in love. Yes, I believe in love... Why not?


At this moment I'm not into any relationship, but maybe one day I will meet my mister perfect and I will get married with him because I want, not because my parents force me.

My generation

As I've said in the previous post I was born in 2001. Some people say that this generation is a generation of idiots. I disagree, but... Why do they say that? I don't know for sure, but what's clear is that older people have different ideas and ways of life. Things have changed. Now everybody has a smartphone and a house with Internet. We're hooked to social networks like WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook and we spend too much time surfing on the Internet.

Obviously there are teenagers who are very rude, problematic and who use a bad language but on the other hand, there are a lot of teenagers who are polite, respectful, liable and studious... Like me😎

Every teenager has to go to school and we have the opportunity of study and build a great future. I think the education in my country was good. I have said ''was'' because now we are in a period of changes. After high school you can study a degree during around five years or you can also do a FP (formación profesional). FP it's like a degree, but based on job placement and you can study that when you're at high school.

Recently wear caps and long t-shirts and sweatshirts has become fashion, but not everybody follows this trend, each person have their own way to dress and that's so good because we're free and we can wear whatever we want.



Now, there is a little boom of colourful hairstyles. There are people in my school who have blue hair, pink hair and even green hair! I respect them but I think they're crazy.

There's also a boom of tattoos, almost everybody has one or two, but there are some people who have the arms or the back full of tattoos. From my point of view it's cool to have tattooed your skin, but maybe when you get older you will detest that.


And if you don't like my generation... Keep calm! Things will change.

This is me

Hi guys! This blog is for my English class and i'm going to write about some interesting themes and also about me. In first place I want you to know just a little bit about my life.

I'm Minerva Vidal Sanchez, I was born in the early morning on the 17th of August 2001 so I'm only 15 years old. I've lived in Archena since I was born. Don't you know where is this village? Well, Archena is in Murcia, which is located in the south east of Spain.

Ensalada murciana

If one day you have the opportunity to come to Murcia you have to taste the paparajotes, the gachasmigas and the ensalada murciana. I'm pretty sure that you will like it.
To be honest I don't like the ensalada murciana because I hate black olives.
I also hate all the legumes and vegetables... Yeah, I'm carnivorous.  I know it's bad for my health not to eat vegetables and legumes but... I'm so sorry, I can't do anything.

Alba is the one with the yellow t-shirt and I'm the other.

I live with my mum and my dad, they've been divorced since last summer so they don't live together (obviously) but it's OK because their houses are really near and in only 3 minutes or even less I can go from one house to the other. I have no brothers or sisters but for me that's no a problem because I have a lot of friends and I spend many time with them.

My best friend is Alba, she also lives near me and we go to the same class in Vicente Medina high school.

In my future, I want to be biologist, I don't mind if I work like a teacher or in a laboratory.

And what about my physique and my personality? I'm 1'62 m tall and I weigh around 47 kg. I'm OK, don't you think that?😉 I've long, curly and brown hair.
Everybody says that my skin is too white, like a snowman but I like myself and that's the most important thing.
I think that I'm friendly and polite, I'm only shy with people that I don't know but I normally talk a lot and I'm also a quite nervous.

In my free time I usually meet with my friends and I often go to the cinema with them.
I also go to dance every Tuesday and Friday because I'm in a troupe. I've danced for 3 ages and I want continue doing that.
I don't like reading, in fact I only read books for school. I spend a lot of hours studying so I don't have many free time.

And well... This is me! ✌
